“We’ve been working with silk-screening powdered glass in between layers of glass,” John says. This past summer he was inspired by all the fabrics around the collective studio he shares with clothing designers Abbie Miller and Owen Ashley. “I’ve been surprised by the level of detail we can achieve,” John said. Upcoming patterns include polka-dots, damask, and herringbone.
