Even the Goddess of Nature has a hard time out-wow-ing the natural beauty of the vista from the National Museum of Wildlife Art’s sculpture trail. Acclaimed British sculptor Simon Gudgeon’s “Isis” was unveiled last night to an appreciative crowd that was as mixed as the Mix’d Media event theme. One attendee was overheard to say, “I had to leave the Romney dinner to come to this.” Meanwhile, spray paint fumes blended with the enticing smell of Rising Sage BBQ, while hipsters, rich-sters, artists, and a westerns states museum entourage chilled out at the outdoor amphitheater.

“We want everyone to come here and feel like you belong,” museum board chair Stephanie Brennan said. “This is a place you can come for peace, solace, and beauty.”

This photo does poor justice to the outstanding cloud display augmenting the eminent eloquence of Isis…
